Facebook Pixel
We use a “Facebook Pixel” from Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). It is a cookie (a small text file) stored on your computer or phone, which can then be retrieved. This helps us track user behavior after they have viewed or clicked on an ad in any of Facebook’s apps or websites. We can gather data on the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and marketing purposes. It also helps us customize ad content for specific target groups and exclude advertising to people who are no longer interested or have already purchased a product or service.
The data collected this way is anonymous to us and cannot be linked to the user’s identity. However, Facebook stores and processes this data in such a way that it can be linked to the user’s profile, and Facebook may use the data for its own marketing purposes in accordance with Facebook’s privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). You can change your Facebook ad settings and control ad targeting on Facebook’s platform.
Google
We use Google Analytics to track and analyze traffic and events on our website, and Google Ads for advertising on Google’s search engine google.se or google.com, etc. Many websites and apps use Google’s services to enhance content and offer it at no cost. These websites and apps share information with Google when they integrate our services. For example, your browser automatically sends certain information to Google when you visit a website that uses advertising services like AdSense or analytics tools like Google Analytics, or embedded content from YouTube. This includes the URL of the page you visit and your IP address. We may also store cookies in your browser or read existing cookies.
Google uses the information shared by our website to provide our services, maintain and improve them, develop new services, measure ad effectiveness, protect against fraud and misuse, and customize content and ads shown to you on Google and on partner websites and apps. You can read more about how Google processes data for these purposes in their privacy policy.
In our privacy policy, we describe the legal grounds for how Google processes your information. For example, we process the information based on your consent or to fulfill legitimate interests, such as providing, maintaining, and improving our services to meet user needs. You may sometimes be asked to give your consent before Google processes the information shared by websites and apps. In such cases, we will process your information based on the consent you provide rather than the legal grounds described in Google’s privacy policy. If you want to change or withdraw your consent, visit the website or app in question.
